Actress Khushi Kapoor has been vocal about getting cosmetic surgeries, including a nose job and fillers. She recently shared that openly talking about getting cosmetic enhancements is no big deal.
However, she pointed out that not accepting it would set unrealistic beauty standards that would be unfair to young boys and girls. And now in a new interview with Curly Tales, Khushi Kapoor revealed that she has undergone nano-blading for her eyebrows recently.
When asked why she confessed to getting lip fillers and a nose job done. Kapoor responded, “I don’t think it’s such a big deal. I think people feel that they’ll get hate if they come out and admit it (getting cosmetically enhanced), but there’s going to be hate anyway.”
“This term plastic… people think it’s the biggest insult you can give someone. But, I don’t think it’s bad if someone gets work done. I think the issue is when people enhance themselves cosmetically and say that ‘I woke up like this, I’m completely natural’. Then you are setting up an unrealistic standard of beauty. It’s unfair for younger boys and girls who look up to you. You might just want to be honest, because people are not going to like you some way or the other,” she added.
Workwise, Khushi is making her big screen debut with Loveyapa alongside Junaid Khan. The film is a remake of Love Today and will releasing in theatres on February 7.
